Marc J. Foulkrod—Chief Executive Officer

Cell: +1 (818) 929-1423 |

Mr. Foulkrod graduated from California State Polytechnic University with a degree in aerospace engineering. He then worked for Boeing Commercial Aircraft Company and McDonnell Douglas as a performance engineer. At Flying Tiger’s corporate aircraft division, TigerAir, his duties included corporate airliner sales, marketing and Boeing 747 import certification.

After joining Avjet Corporation in 1982 as a marketing consultant, Mr. Foulkrod expanded the company into a multifaceted, full-service aviation organization, which included placing the Boeing Business Jet in charter operations. He acquired the company in 1986 and eventually sold the charter, aircraft management and MRO services to General Dynamics in 2016. Mr. Foulkrod served as chairman of the board and CEO of Avjet Corporation.

Avjet Corporation’s aircraft sales division, Avjet Global Sales and Avjet Asia (the first FBO, or fixed base operator, in South Korea) and Avjet Pagosa Springs were retained by Mr. Foulkrod. He continues to serve as chairman and a board member.

Mr. Foulkrod was responsible for—and coordinated with former President Bill Clinton on—the BBJ flight to North Korea in August 2009 to return two imprisoned American journalists. Avjet had to obtain several exemptions from special FAA regulations that prohibit flights to North Korea, as well as work with the U.S. Air Force for the various logistics involved in the operation. “Beyond the honor of serving our country,” Foulkrod said, “Avjet’s success in this mission helped restore some of the nation’s appreciation for the role that general aviation plays in a free, democratic society.”

Mr. Foulkrod is also a consultant for heads of state. He was appointed by the prime minister of Armenia to assist in the consultations and development of their national airline service.

Jon Conlon—Vice President Research Division

Cell: +1 (571) 436-7915 |

Mr. Conlon holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and an MBA in international finance and economics. He and his team of analysts assist OEMs with expert market intelligence.

Mr. Conlon joined Avjet in 2008 after a successful 13-year career as an aerospace analyst and hedge fund manager on Wall Street. His focus in the finance industry involved both commercial OEMs and private business jet OEMs, with an emphasis on Gulfstream, Bombardier and Boeing products, as well as commercial airline sectors. He also previously worked in structured finance with a number of private equity groups. In that role, he was instrumental in the funding of several small and medium-sized aviation startups that were eventually sold to private equity firms.

Mr. Conlon’s vision and skill in locating underserved sectors within the commercial and general business aviation space, and developing turnkey startups, lends itself well to assisting Avjet Global’s clients in maximizing the value of their aviation assets and helping flight departments forecast future trends, asset prices and needs.

Prior to his work in aviation market finances, Mr. Conlon was heavily involved in private asset management, with a specialization in Eastern European privatization sales during the 1990s after the dissolution of the Berlin Wall.
